Pet Policies
We do not have breed restrictions, but some sites do have some pet restrictions! Please confirm that the site you choose allows the number of pets you wish to bring. Pet maximums are listed in the information section or the amenities section of each site.
Many of the problems encountered at the park are caused from people who can’t, or won’t control their dogs. To ensure the safety of the other guests, and to promote an enjoyable visit for everyone, dogs are not allowed if the following stipulations can’t be met.
- Your dogs must not use the grass around your campsite as their bathroom. The dog park or any other areas around the park is for them, but the grass around your campsite is for guests to enjoy, and dog urine will destroy it quickly.
- Regardless of where you are in the park, you must “scoop the poop” after your pets.
- We must be able to walk up and pet your dog without getting bit.
- Dogs must be safe and not dangerous to guests or other dogs.
- Your dogs must remain on a leash when inside the park area, and whoever is walking them must be able to control them.
- Dog fencing is allowed, but it must not be installed on, or across, the grass.
- Dogs that continuously bark are not allowed.
